Preventing rehoming, abandonment, and owners resorting to abuse, cruelty or neglect by making dog training, owner education, and care resources accessible.

How we make an impact:

Free Dog Training

We offer free dog training to the community in group classes. For dogs that are not able to be in a group setting, we offer one-on-one training until the dog is ready for the group class. During these sessions, we also educate the owner about the dog’s specific needs and effective communication.

Owner Education

We teach owners about their dogs. We teach communication, body language, what the rules are around dog ownership, and what to expect concerning behavior, financial, and time responsibility. We teach how to train the dog and how to meet its needs as well as how to communicate what is expected of the dog.

Vaccine Fund

We offer assistance paying for vaccines required by the state and local regulations as well as those required to help prevent communicable illnesses. Participation in the dog training program grants access to this program.
